Alongside my coaching work, I partner with organizations that want something deeper than a standard burnout talk or a wellness module. As a widely recognized authority in physician career sustainability and values-aligned leadership, I have presented over 282 presentations nationally and internationally.

I'm a board-certified gastroenterologist with more than 27 years in practice and the founding Director of the American College of Gastroenterology Center for Leadership, Ethics, and Equity. Since launching the Center in 2021, I've helped train more than 200 physicians to lead authentically, strategically, and sustainably.

I speak as someone who has lived the work. I know what it's like to be torn between patient care, documentation, teaching, committee work, and a life outside of medicine. In my talks, I name the pressures physicians face without blaming or brushing off systemic issues. I offer pragmatic tools and guidance to ensure a values-aligned career.

Audiences often describe my sessions as honest, validating, and practical. My goal is for people to leave thinking, "I'm not alone, and I actually know what I can try next." My mission is to help physicians restore time, clarity, and energy while staying in medicine. I believe burnout is not a personal failure. It's a signal of misalignment and insufficient protection.
